The Activated Disciple Bible/book study

The Activated Disciple: Taking Your Faith to the Next Level, by Jeff Cavins, is an exciting 4-week book study to learn how to have a more profound relationship with Christ and learn practical ways to live as a Disciple! Convert faith into action in serving as a disciple!

A disciple is simply being in a relationship with Jesus Christ, receiving his love and mercy, and seeking to follow him in our daily life. We, as members of All Saints Catholic Church, seek to be fully responsive to the Holy Spirit in fulfilling the mission Christ has given to us of making disciples of all people.

As disciples and members of the Body of Christ here at All Saints, we seek: to grow in relationship with Jesus Christ; to respond to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, to serve God, one another and our community; and to “live a life worthy of the calling you have received” Eph 4:1

We have so many opportunities to encounter Christ, to deepen our relationship with the Lord and accompanying others on their spiritual journey. We strive to reach all thresholds of conversion by creating overlapping multiple opportunities to foster our relationships, love others, serve our community and make disciples!

This year, among many mission-focused opportunities, we had intentional book studies on discipleship for families and adults, we started Wednesdays in the Word, our weekly drop-in Bible study on the upcoming Sunday scripture; and hosted a Joyfully Gifted discernment workshop, an opportunity to recognize and develop the gifts God has given us to use as disciples. We ended our fiscal year in May 2021 with the three-day Casting Nets Mission that included more than 450 participants; what a blessing!

All Saints offers many ways to nourish, form, and become disciples! Be on the lookout; we have some many more exciting things happening this year. Please reach out to Jackie Rourke on how to get involved.

Discover how to share your faith with others!

Great study for small groups.

St. Peter the Apostle exhorts us to “Always be ready to make your defense to anyone who demands from you an accounting for the hope that is in you.” (1 Peter 3:15) The intention of this short video series is to provide some of the basic knowledge, skills and practices that will enable you to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others.

This series is best carried out with others. While the PDF-file provided gives spaces for responses and notes, the Diocese of Raleigh hopes that groups will experience the series together in discussion, in one full day or sessions.
