Volunteering at All Saints -- What's Your Gift?

Your talents make you uniquely suited to serve in parish ministries.

God has given each of us a task he's given no one else.

Through specific service roles, All Saints parishioners bring the presence of Christ to others in tangible ways. There are plenty of opportunities to share your time and talents in a meaningful way.

Each week at Mass, we have 75 to 90 volunteers who work in and behind the scenes at this one Hampstead location. When our Surf City location opens for the summer on Memorial weekend, there will be an impressive 125 to 150 people each and every week serving at Mass. That’s a lot of people! We invite you to actively participate and experience the benefits of being involved. Whole families of all ages can be joyful greeters. If you’re in third grade and above, you can be an altar server. And good readers in 8th grade and above can train to be lectors. If you have been confirmed and are at least age 16, you can learn how to share Jesus with others as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. Sign up in the Gathering Area for training sessions.

If you’d like to help, but you’re not sure what you have to offer, you can discover your God-given spiritual gifts in an upcoming event.

You Are a Part of Christ’s Body

Brothers and sisters: As a body is one though it has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though many, are one body, so also Christ.
For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free persons, and we were all given to drink of one Spirit.
Now the body is not a single part, but many.
You are Christ's body, and individually parts of it.

Office Ministry

Reception, Special Projects, Information Center

By helping out in All Saints’ office, you are an important part of the welcoming atmosphere of our parish. Our reception volunteers are a vital information hub -- greeting guests, answering phone calls, organizing the gathering area, filling Mass intention cards, receiving contributions, and connecting people to our resources. Special projects volunteers help to get big things done in a little bit of time. Whether it’s a holiday mailing, inventory, or other project, many hands make light work.
